Ordering and Delivery Guide for The Architects Shop
Our mission is to simplify your shopping experience. This guide walks you through the process from placing your order to receiving it. Please read thoroughly to understand what to expect when you choose The Architects Shop.
- As soon as you place an order, you'll receive an order confirmation email. This indicates we've received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.
- We immediately confirm with our warehouse to ensure the item is in stock and available for dispatch.
- If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we'll get in touch via email. Otherwise, we'll proceed with preparing your order for shipment.
- For in-stock items, once your order is processed and ready to ship, which typically happens within 1-2 business days, you'll receive a tracking number in your email within 24 hours.
- We ship daily via renowned carriers, ensuring your products reach you promptly. For any orders placed close to our 1pm PST cut-off time, there may be a possibility of the shipment processing the following business day.
- It's crucial to provide a valid phone number during the checkout, as this will be used by the freight company to arrange a delivery appointment.
Damages Upon Delivery:
- It's vital to inspect the packaging of your items upon arrival. In the rare instance of any damage, you can file a warranty claim for replacements.
- If your items arrive damaged, please send photos to our support team, and we'll process an insurance claim on your behalf.
Cancellations & Refunds:
- All orders canceled after being processed are subject to a $40 administrative fee, regardless of whether your order has shipped. This covers administrative and personnel fees.
- If your order has already shipped, you will be responsible for return shipping charges. Refunds will be issued to the original credit card used when placing your order.
- Occasionally, due to the high demand for our curated items, a product may be on backorder. In such cases, we'll notify you with an expected restocking date. You can choose to wait for the product, select an alternative, or cancel the order.
- Should the expected arrival time change due to unforeseen circumstances, we'll keep you updated. Once backordered items are back in stock, we'll notify you with an estimated ship date.
Important Freight LTL Shipment Information:
- When your item is near your location, the dispatcher will call to set up a delivery appointment. It's essential to be available during the proposed delivery window to receive and sign for the item.
- Deliveries can only be scheduled during specific windows, such as 8 am - 12 pm or 12 pm - 4 pm. A fixed delivery time, like 9:00 am, cannot be set.
- Our products are delivered via a lift gate truck, ensuring safe and efficient delivery to your curbside.
- We recommend retaining all packaging materials, especially if you're considering returning the item later.
Handling Damages or Discrepancies at Delivery:
- If there's any damage to the carton packaging upon arrival, we recommend immediate inspection, preferably with the driver present.
- In cases of severe packaging damage with exposed products, it's within your rights to refuse the shipment. In such cases, kindly take a photo of the delivery for our records and notify our team immediately.
- Any damages or discrepancies should be reported to us promptly to ensure a swift resolution.
